What is Wyacracker? Wyacracker is a free web-based service that allows any one to build a widget without any programming or writing code. These Wyacracker Widgets can be e-mailed, inserted into a blog, incorporated into a web page or indeed almost anywhere on the Internet where you might publish information. What is a Wyacracker Widget? A Wyacracker Widget is a simple application that you make yourself. It can collect information electronically where it can be more easy viewed and sorted. If you previously used a paper form or ordinary email to collect information, chances are you can do more efficiently and effectively with a Wyacracker Widget. Do I need to know computer code or programming? Not with Wyacracker. All you do is tell Wyacracker what information you want to collect and it writes all the code for you. For example, if you wanted to allow people to RSVP to a party you might want them to provide their name, how many people they are bringing with them and what dish they're bringing. You simply add a 'field' for each bit of information you want to collect, click save and Wyacracker does the rest. How can I make a widget with just one click? Wyacracker has a number of templates you can use that have the fields already added. Just choose that template and you're done in seconds. What can I do with my widget? Heaps of stuff. You can email it out, publish it on your blog or on your home page. In fact, anywhere that allows you to add HTML can be a place for you to publish your Wyacracker Widget. |
